When one of the world’s most celebrated restaurant groups calls you back for another project, you know you’re doing something right. Major Food Group has once again trusted Bell Uniform Design to outfit their latest masterpiece: Carbone Riviera at Bellagio Las Vegas.Brought to life by Major Food Group co-founders Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi in partnership with MGM Resorts International, Carbone Riviera opened in November 2025 as the historic reinvention of Bellagio’s legendary former Picasso dining room. It has quickly established itself as one of the greatest seafood restaurants in the world, delivering a masterful interpretation of Italian coastal cuisine with a bold, glamorous Las Vegas twist. Inside, guests enjoy an opulent setting designed by acclaimed interior designer Martin Brudnizki, dining beneath original artworks by Picasso, Renoir, and Miró. Terra cotta tones, Murano glass chandeliers, mirrored banquettes, and sun-drenched Mediterranean elegance create an atmosphere inspired by the Côte d’Azur and Picasso’s Vallauris years. Outside, two stunning terraces extend the experience, including a picturesque dining dock lined with olive trees that evokes the waterfront decks of Venice. A rare Riva yacht on the Bellagio lake adds an extra layer of exclusivity for select guests, offering front-row views of the iconic Fountains of Bellagio.

For a uniform company, this was a dream project: designing staff wardrobes for a sophisticated Mediterranean coastal restaurant, the kind of setting everyone dreams of experiencing. The challenge? To create looks that feel effortlessly elegant, timeless, and perfectly aligned with the restaurant’s sun-soaked Italian Riviera vibe while standing up to the demands of a high-volume, luxury fine-dining environment.Major Food Group didn’t hold back in their brief. They asked us to “knock it out of the park”, the same standard they set for their extraordinary food, ambiance, and service. We embraced the coastal Italian spirit with refined silhouettes, premium breathable fabrics in warm terracotta, azure, and neutral tones, subtle nautical-inspired details, and tailored fits that allow team members to move with confidence and grace throughout long service hours. From the moment the team put on the new uniforms, the feedback was exactly what we hoped for: the looks enhance the overall guest experience without overpowering it. They feel like a natural extension of the restaurant’s glamorous yet welcoming atmosphere. This marks another successful collaboration with Major Food Group, following previous projects where our uniforms helped elevate their signature dining experiences. Being chosen again is the highest compliment, proof that our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and deep understanding of hospitality environments continues to deliver results. At Bell Uniform Design, we specialize in creating custom uniform programs that tell a story and support the brand’s vision. Whether it’s a landmark hotel on Nob Hill or an ultra-luxury seafood palace overlooking the Fountains of Bellagio, we deliver wardrobes that make every team member look and feel exceptional. We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to Carbone Riviera’s stunning debut. Congratulations to the entire Major Food Group team, Martin Brudnizki, MGM Resorts, and everyone who helped bring this Mediterranean dream to the Las Vegas Strip. Here’s to many more unforgettable collaborations ahead!
